Hi Ken & Group:

I am also researching a group of BAKERs, who would have been through Licking
County, Ohio. Specifically, ancestors or descendants of Gideon BAKER, who
was enumerated in Newark, Licking County, Ohio, during the census of 1840.

I suspect the following to be a partial list of Gideon BAKER's children:

George Archer BAKER, b. April 26, 1824, in Danby, Rutland County, Vermont.
(Married a Susannah STANLEY.)

Julia BAKER, probably born about 1830. (Married an Aaron YOUNG.)

Another daughter, b. between 1835 and 1840.

John Chapman BAKER, b. May 1, 1843, in Newark, Licking County, Ohio.
(Married the former Mary Amanda COLFLESH, of nearby Delaware County, Ohio.)

Electa L. BAKER, b. between 1846-1848, in Ohio. (Married William Jones
COLFLESH, of nearby Delaware County, Ohio.)

Would love to find someone else, who is researching this family, with which
to share information.
