A visit to Licking county proved to be productive---I found out more information
on William (we were researching the WRONG William prior to this visit).

I have found, with the help of the 1880 and 1870 census reports and a Licking
County Death Record, that we were off 13 years on the DOB. I also found
through the 1880 census that William's father immigrated from Ireland and
his mother from Scotland (I don't yet know their names). There is discrepancy
in William's birth orgin (the census reports Ohio...the death record reports
PA). I also found that another son of William's existed (Thomas).

The following information is the descendency info from William. Any additional
information anyone might have or stumble across would be GREATLY appreciated
(especially possibilites for his parents---or even Margaret's last name).

WILLIAM MCDONALD (b. abt. June 30, 1830 in OH or PA (his parentsnames
as of yet, unknown, immigrated from Ireland and Scotland) married a Margaret
E. (last name unknown) d. 8/11/1923 in Columbus, OH, buried in Cedar Hill
Cemetery, Newark). The union produced three known children: Thomas (b abt.
1861) Inni Otto (b 1866) and Frederick (b 1874). William died February
8, 1891 (I have no documentation as to where he was buried).

INNI OTTO (OTT)MCDONALD (b. abt. 1866; d. 2/4/1905) married Anna A. Norman
(b. 2/7/1868; d. 2/10/1922) on May 30, 1892. The union produced 4 children:
Lilly Belle, Clarence, Frederick and Otto Norman. Ott died 2/4/1905 and
is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

OTTO NORMAN MCDONALD (b. 9/4/1905 - d. 1/13/1985) married (6/1924) Beatrice
Bowman (b. 2/28/1906 - d. 6/11/1987) the daughter of Mary Tanner and Harry
Bowman. The union of Otto and Beatrice produced 11 children: Ottie, Bonnie,
Robert, Mary Anne, Phyllis, Alice, Barbara Sue, Ronald, Rodger Harry, Brenda,
and Richard.

RODGER HARRY MCDONALD (b. 2/18/1939) married (6/11/1960) Jane Concordia
Young (b. 8/20/1940) the daughter of Ernest Tillson Young and Mary Geraldine
Shiebler Young. The union produced 4 children: Katheryn Mary, Laurie Joan,
Rodger Harry Jr., and Scott Daniel.

KATHERYN MARY MCDONALD-FAIR (b. 3/14/1961) married (6/12/1981) Kevin Lee
Fair (b. 6/12/1961) the son of Larry Richard Fair and Janice Joy Otterstedt
Fair. The union produced 2 children: Jessica Lee and Tiffany Danielle.

PS: I found the LCGS to be wonderful. Beyond the resources--the volunteers
were GREAT in assisting.
