The Fairfield County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society proudly

2000
featuring Curt Witcher, manager of the Genealogy Department of the
Allen
County Public Library in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Topics include Historical Research Methodology, Effective Use of
Libraries
and The Road Less Traveled: Super Sites for Family Historians.

Other speakers include Karen S. Smith and Amy Johnson Crow, CG. Their
topics
include Organization, State Government Records and Vital Records
Substitutes.

Cost is $15.00, which includes a hot buffet lunch.

Further details and the registration form can be found at
http://www.fairfieldgenealogy.org/seminar.html

Everyone is welcome; you don't need to be a member of the Chapter to
attend.

Space is limited, so don't delay!

Also be sure to register for the 5th annual lock-in which will be held
Friday September 29th at 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight at the Fairfield
County District Library in Lancaster. This is a wonderful opportunity
for researchers to use genealogical resources in the library including
the Historical Room, Fairfield County newspaper microfilm, IGI, etc.
The library will be closed to all others and everyone brings a snack
to share.

The lock-in is free and is limited to 50 participants so register
soon.
