There was a Brooks family there in 1841 and onto ???. They were found
inFayette CO Iowa and next neighboring Counties to fayette in 1860's. This
might be a thought for some of you who can't find your people after 1840/ 50
in Licking Co..Also try other counties in Oh and in Wisc.

I'm looking for John Ferguson (wife Cyrena McClain). In the 1870 census
they were living in Lima Twp. of Licking County. I can't find a trace of
them after that, and thought there might be some probate record.
