# 0912548 - Licking Co., Ohio Index to Administrations and Executors
1875-1915 is a microfilm copy of a book in the Licking Co. Courthouse. I
have it on loan from the Family History Library which means it stays at the
Family History Center, and I go there to read it. It will be there about 4
more weeks. I may not be back to the FHC until next Wednesday, but I will
check your names when I can. I have received new requests for Owen and Vail
since yesterdays postings. For my own purposes, I have checked the
following surnames so far: Armold (yes, that is "m"), Atwood, Barker, Bish
(none), Burnside/Burnsides, Carpenter, Claybaugh (none), Coats (none),
Conrad, Cooperrider, Denman, Fishbaugh/Fishpaugh/Fishpaw, Grandstaff, Hager,
Hanson (none), Hottinger (none), Mason, May, Macklin, McKinney,
Maharry/Meharry (none), and Matheney/Metheney.

The time period of the probate is not given in the index. However, the
dockets were also microfilmed and the Family History Library Catalog gives
the time period the dockets cover. To help you use the index, the time
periods are:

Vol. 1-2 1875-1885
Vol. 3-4 1883-1889
Vol. 5-6 1889-1897
Vol. 7 1897-1901
Vol. 8-9 1901-1908
Vol. 10-11 1908-1913
Vol. 12 1913-1916

That implies that some of the information in Docket Vol. 12 is not in the
index. Docket Vol. 13 is also on microfilm and covers the years 1916-1918.
