My GGgrandmother was Martha (FIELD) Wise b. Nov 1842. She and my
GGgrandfather John Wise b. 1840 Muskingum Co. OH lived in Hopewell Twsp. I
was at the Licking County Library last week and noticed one card in the card
index that said Silas Field. At the time I did not know this particular
FIELD would be of interest to me. Having returned home to Dayton, OH I now
noticed on the map of Hopewell Twsp. that an S. C. FIELD owned property just
two neighbors south of my GGGgrandfathers farm (Andrew Wise b. 1797 PA).
This FIELD may be my GGgrandmothers family. Can anyone provide any
information on this FIELD family?
