According to land records in Licking Co., OH, the wife of Andrew Galer, Sr. was named Christenah. Of their seven children, only Peter was born in PA. The others were born in VA, but I do not know the location. What records do you have placing the Galer family in Wheeling, Ohio Co., WV (which until 1863 was part of VA)? The Galers moved to Washington Co., OH in 1796 from PA. The marriage of Ruth Allen and Andrew Galer, Jr. took place in Washington Co., OH. Ruth and Andrew had eleven children, according to the history of Licking Co., OH, where they moved in 1806. I have thusfar identified only four of their children as follows:

Andrew M. born c. 1804 in Washington Co., OH
Mary, born MArch 1, 1806 in Washington Co., OH
Jane, born November 29, 1810 in Licking Co., OH
Washington Monroe, born October 11, 1823 in Licking Co., OH.

Do you have any information on the other siblings?
