Message Board Post:

In the 1820s and 1830s, five of the ten children of Eliphas Thrall (1767-1834) and Mary/Polly Mead Thrall (1773-1841) moved from Licking County, Ohio, to Edwards and Wabash counties in southeastern Illinois. They were:

* Caroline (1799?-1826), who married Samuel C. Cooper;
* Oliver (1796-1858), who married Margaret Parker and later Hannah Lockwood Parker;
* Dr. Aaron (1807-1847), who married Cynthia _____;
* Lyman (1798-1858), who married Abigail Phelps; and
* Worthy (1809-1852), who married Hannah James.

Last spring my sister and I made a research trip to SE Illinois and learned some more about them, their children, and (some of) their grandchildren. Most were active Methodists, and Worthy and Hannah are our great-great-grandparents. The story of what we found has been posted at
