Hi,
I had a lot of trouble reading these census, for clarity, but in 1850 The head of the household was Sarah Taylor age 50 born in KY, and John age 25 farmer b) Oh, the next entry I had trouble reading the name but possibly James, age 22 M Clerk OH, William age 18 M Oh idiot, Emily age 16 F OH school, Alonzo age 9 OH school and there where two other's in the household, that I just could not make much out about.
In the 1860 Census: Mrs Sarah Taylor age 61 F b) KY, William and Alonzo are still with her. Just above her is John Taylor & family probably her son and just under her was James Taylor & family, the reason I thought the entry I could not read for aged 22, may be James.
I am trying to find out the parents of Emily Sarah Taylor that married Jackson Davis. The Emily listed in the 1850 census, is of the correct age, the only one I was able to find as Sarah or Emily that would come close, there was one other, but I have already disproved that one. Emily also went by Emma, and found in the 1860 Census, with her husband Jackson Davis.
Would you know who Mrs. Sarah Taylor was married to? In the 1840 Census, I found a William and a Jonathan Taylor that was head of household, but it just was not much help. Mrs Sarah Taylor, has a son John and a son William.
Emily Sarah Taylor was born, married and died in Newark Twp,. Licking Co., Ohio.
If you can help with this, I sure could use it. Any possible ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,
Sheila
