Included in that Indian attack were the Brown family. There is much
about this incident in PA history books also.

I have been following this because John VanKirk married Mary
Benjamin. My Mahala JUDD married Benjamin David Van Kirk. John died
early and Benjamin was with his Benjamin grandparents quite a lot.

I promised someone I'd send the stuff, but my husband is still in
hospital and I'm sorry but I had to put it off. Margaret Crist Calvin
