Cheryl I have not posted on our Campbell line for a year or so so I wll do so now. I have posted this on the LIcking and Guernsey County lists. Have you posted on the Campbell rootsweb list and are you a member of the Campbell Clan Society - this latter did send me some helpful possibilities and asked me to send them our line which I have not yet done.

I list after your question my wife's line - I do not see any connection to your LIcking County Campbells. But perhaps if we post on the Campbell Rootsweb list? If you have not posted on that list let me know and I will post this message there.

You asked about photographs of the Campbells. We inherited a phamlet or booklet from Emma Melou Campbell as noted below but no family stories or phots older than the Perry County family.

By the way when you talked to the Licking County chapter of the OGS you were talking to a most helpful group - best regards to the Rootsweb lists and to the LIcking County Society --Hal

My name is Cheryl Eccker - and my grandmother was Bertha Alice Campbell. She was the daughter of Jack [Andrew J.] and Polly [Smith] Campbell who resided in Strafford Missouri. Jack was the son of George Green and Narcissus Campbell, and George was the son of John and Mary Ann Sparks, Campbell.
I have spent the last several years researching my Campbell side and have traced them to Licking County Ohio - after learning in military records that was where John and Mary Ann were from. My line in Licking is through Joseph and {Rebecca Green] Campbell who dies in August of 1824, and his father John who dies in Licking on August 11, 1822 - the family moved to Licking from the Huntingdon Pennsylvania area.
I recently contacted the Licking County Historical Society about a "Article of Agreement" Joseph made with a Jonas Stanbery on October 11, 1809 purchasing land in Licking, and they told me that you too are a descendent of this family. ... It has taken me almost a year to reseach all the Licking Records from my home near Denver...I would love to exchange information with you. I have a tin bread box of old photographs I inherited from my father - which was the "calling" to begin this quest..and also wonder if you too have old photographs...
Would it be possible for you to e-mail me...I would love to discuss some of the things I have discovered and share the records I have with another descendent.
