Seeking information on William Coon born about 1792 died in Alexandria, Licking County, Ohio on 25 August 1853 or 1854. He married: First, Clarissa Williams (Southwick) and second, Elizabeth Hicks. William and Elizabeth had two children, Elinor and Hariet. William's son, David Coon and David's father-in-law, Alanson Adams, also lived in Licking County from around 1844 to about 1855. David and his wife's brother, Elam Dennis Adams, owned a wagon making business named Adams-Coon. William may have only lived in Licking County for a few years before his death because I believe I have found this family in a Canada Census for 1851. Any information on this Coon line will be greatly appreciated.
