Wellington June 27, 1895
Miss Franc Husted, of Norwalk, visiting Miss Cleghorn.
Will Stewart of Cleveland, spent Sunday in Wellington.
Jim Armstrong has opened Arnold's popcorn & peanut stand.
J.J.Thomas put up a fine monument in North Amherst last Monday.
Charley Curtiss of cleveland is here on vacation at J.J.Thomas.
John Thomas Jr. closed a successful school term in Haskins Dist.
Mrs. Lizzie Dover, of Norwalk spent Sunday with her sister Mrs. John
Townsend.
Mrs. John Smole of Cleveland, who has been visiting with friends here
returned to her home Tuesday.
A.R.Horr, of Itahca NY, has returned to his home. He has completed his
course.
Rev. Father Powers' sister has been spending sometime visiting him. Her
home is in Cleveland.
E. Thatcher, a representative of a Chicago book supply firm, was calling
on friends and relatives here.
Mr. & Mrs. A. Witbeck, of Cleveland, former residents of this place, are
visiting.
A.M. Kenyon, assistant principal in our High School, returned to his
home in Medina last Tuesday.
E.L.French was at home on Sunday. One of our oldest traveling men.
Mr. & Mrs. F.A.Chapman & daughter Luella expect to spend a few weeks at
Mackinaw.
The Deveran boy who jumped from the train while in motion at Greenwich,
is out of danger at present.
Hon. J.T. Haskell visited his daughter in Cleveland last Sunday. Mrs.
Haskell & daughter Mary are on a trip up to the lakes.
Ike Ream of Spencer, who had been dangerously ill, is much improved. He
spent a day in Wellington this week.
C.H.Horton of Painesville, is giving men employment. Several expect to
go work there.
