into SS. Those hired at the post office before 1982 do not pay SS unless we
choose to change our retirment plan to the one the post office came up with
in 1982. Most have not, but we also will not be able to collect SS benefits.
Therefore, they will not have a record when I die because there will not be
any payments to me to stop.
