Hello List...I'm new, and just beginning the search for my
heritage. My Father's name was SHELBY HARRIS.dob,
10/21/16...he resided on Georgia Avenue, Toledo, and
graduated from Devilbiss High School. In 1945, while
stationed in England he met and married, Sarah (SALLY)
Jones. They had 2 children, Shirley and Bruce, 1946 and
1949, respectively. He had a brother named Wyatt Harris,
who died at a young age, as did his parents.....he was an
orphan by the age of 10, and was raised by his aunt and
uncle, Minnie & George Meier of Georgia Avenue. His
Father's name was also SHELBY HARRIS, and I believe his
mother's name may have been BESSIE RIEK, (REIK). Any info
will be greatly appreciated! TIA! Shar
