Hi List!

Here is my montly posting on my silly family. If you have anything to
add, correct, or have questions, please let me know!

I also would love to find (hopefully) living cousins Weaver, below!
They may still be in the Toledo, OH area. They are the children of
Vernon and Mary (Martin) Weaver: David Weaver, Janice Weaver (probably
with a married name by now), and Thomas Weaver. All would be in mid to
late 40's now I think. They are first cousins of mine -- probably have
no clue I exist. They may have nebulous memories of their "Uncle Jim"
and "Auny Mary" and then again they may not. Apparently the family lost
touch sometime after the late sixties, early seventies when Mary (Martin)
Weaver's and Jim Martin's father, Julius Martin, died (Jan 1970). I
believe Mary and Jim were both born in Toledo, and that was also the last
know address for their half sister, Sophia Kovacs (married name).

Descendants of Barbara (Hunyar?):

First Generation

1.Barbara (maiden name HUNYAR?) was born about 1887 in Johnstown,
Cambria County, PA or Hungary. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage on Nov.
16, 1937 and was buried in the North Oregon Cemetary, 464 Otter Creek
Rd., Oregon, OH. Her last known address was at 1535 Mott Ave, Toledo, OH.

Barbara had been previously married to two men with similar or identical
surnames, "Damko/Danko" or "Domko/Donko." Her maiden name is a matter of
family oral history. Her birth place is listed as Johnstown, PA. on her
son, James Martin Martin's, birth certificate. However her death
certificate states she was born in Hungary. Family oral history, per
James, is that both parents immigrated from Hungary. Information on
Barbara's death certificate was provided by her daughter from one of the
first marriages, Sophia (Kovacs).

Barbara married (3rd) Martin MARTIN. Martin was born about 1890 in
Hungary. Family oral history recalls that he was a Colonel in the
Hungarian (army?) service before immigrating to America. He was also
known as Julius Martin. He died Jan. 21, 1970 and was buried on the 23rd
of that month, alongside Barbara in the North Oregon Cemetary.

They had the following children:

2 James Martin MARTIN was born on 8 Jun 1928 in Toledo, OH.
3 Mary MARTIN was allegedly born in Toledo, OH. Mary married Vernon
WEAVER, see below.


Barbara was also married to Unk. DANKO.

They had the following children:

4 Sophia DANKO. Sophia married Unk. KOVACS.
5 Andrew DANKO.
6 Steve(n) DANKO. There is an "infant" Steven Danko on the Martin plot
at North Oregon Cemetary who died Sept. 4, 1946. At this time it is
speculated that this was a son of this Steven Danko.


Barbara was also married to another Unk. D(A/O)(M)(N)KO.

Second Generation

2.James Martin MARTIN (son of Barbara) was born on 8 Jun 1928 in Toledo,
OH.
James married Mary Elizabeth BEAUDRY "Mollie", daughter of Howard John
BEAUDRY and Ella Luzerne FARRINGTON, on 2 Jan 1953. The marriage ended in
divorce. Mollie was born on 31 Jul 1932.

3.Mary MARTIN (daughter of Barbara). Mary married Vernon WEAVER.

Vernon and Mary had the following children:

10 David WEAVER.
11Janice Mary WEAVER was born on 6 Feb 1954.
12Thomas WEAVER.
