Dear Karla,
Thanks for your advice. Am not sure if you live in Lucas Co. but we were
told by the University Library staff in Bowling Green that there are
files in the basement of the Lucas Co. Courthouse and that it is
difficult to get anyone to search there. If true, then that is probably
where the probate record of RUFUS SQUIRES from 1863 may be reposing. Any
response on this point from Lucas Co. residents? ALAN
