Any Newman families from Toledo area early 1900 thru 1920's?
This gentleman, name unknown, was evidently very well to do, as
my great grandfather was his chauffeur for many years.
This Mr. Newman owned homes in Toledo area and also Pasadena
California.[addresses unknown] Have photos of my grgrandfather
in uniform sitting in some of Mr Newman's personal automobiles,
one in particular being a car known as a Brewster. History
states this car was originally made in Europe, production
started in Massachusetts or Maine, and around 1908, this car 's
purchase price was between $15,000 and $20,000!

I DO NOT have the originals in my possession but have seen copies
of them.
My interest is in finding out about this NEWMAN family. What type
of work was this man in to acquire such wealth?

I know absolutely NOTHING about this man, age, date of birth,
place of birth, NOTHING.

My family tree of Lucas County includes surnames:Welever,
VanBuren,Updegraff,Lemerand, Naugle.
