To all for which it applies, Happy Mothers' Day!!!

I am looking for information on my husband's grandmother. She was
supposedly born Frances Glaser in Cleveland, OH on July 12, 1906, even
though her birth certificate says "baby girl". Frances had a son in
Toledo, OH, in Oct. 1921. The name on her son's birth certificate was
Frances Walenta. Her occupation was listed as "factory worker".

Other than these two birth certificates and "word of mouth", I can find
nothing to show that Frances lived in these areas -- no census records
or city directories that mention her or her families.

I presume Frances was Catholic, since her son was adopted through
Catholic Charities in Toledo, OH by a Catholic family -- Podbielniak.

Can anyone tell me anything about Frances? If anyone has any anecdotes
about the Podbielniaks, I would be interested in that, as well.
