If you are a lineal (direct) descendant of a Union Civil War veteran and are female age 8 years of age and up, you may be eligible for membership in the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. We are a non-profit patriotic lineal organization for women founded in OHio in 1885 for the purpose of keeping the memory alive of those who fought for the Grand Old Flag during the War Between the States.
