Read your list exchange regarding the above surnames. I have interest in the
names Kimmel and McClain that were contained in your reply Carole to Walt. I
have included material I have that is pertinent to the Kimmel family but am
not sure where it fits. In my generation 4 an Anna Kimmel in a second
marriage married John Young Shehy. John Y. Shehy was the son of Daniel Shehy
(my 4g Grandfather and first settler in Youngstown, Ohio in 1797). Daniel
Shehy married Jane McLain abt. 1798 and it is her name that brings up my
second point of interest because the name is sometimes spelled McClain as in
Carole message. Would be interested in your thoughts.
