I'm not sure what the general bounderies were considered to be, but I have
found several references in old Vindicators to Egypt, and would like to
learn the exact answer to that question myself. You know how the paper heads
columns of local news by the name of the town, and these are labeled
"Egypt". One have a copy of here in front of me deals with surnames like
PAULIN, SWARTZ, BUZZARD, ALBRIGHT, GEIGER (Olive), HASNESS, MAY, SUMMERS,
PAINTER, and BRICKMAN. So, wherever it is, it's where they lived.

Gonna have to pin point this place someday....
