The hospital that Carl was referrring to was Woodside Receiving Hospital and
it was located on E. Indianola Ave. in Youngstown. That particular hospital
was not operating in 1893. It held more short term patients, because most of
the long term patients were often transferred to Massillon Hospital by order
of the court.

Could you possibly be referring to the Mahoning County Infirmary on Herbert
Rd. in Canfield? It was in operation from about 1856.
