My problem is that I have a year of death (1956), but no day or month. Is there a source in Ohio where one can do a search by name to obtain a date of death? The individual of concern does not appear in the Social Security Death Index.

It is my understanding that one can not request an Ohio death certificate with out having at least the month and year of death. The individual in question lived and died in Youngstown Ohio. Any assistance in the matter would be greatly appreciated.
