Do you have any further information on the wife, siblings or parents of William Daniel Davies? I have a William Davies who married a Jones (either Ann or Martha). They too came from SWales. The birth year of my Jones is either 1839 or 1837 which could have made them possible parents of your William Davies. I only have one child of my Davies and Jones union and that was of a daughter, Amelia b. 1858, found in an 1861 census of Tredegar SW. Evidently, she was staying with her Grandparents, the Jones'. She was only 3 at the time and it says she was born in Llangunider, BRE. I have gathered my Davies information based on the name William Davies of Youngstown, Ohio, written on a telegram, that was sent to my grandmother Anna Jones-Schweinsberg, sending word of the death of her father, William Jones (brother of Ann and Martha). Please let me know either way, if you think there is a connection. Tx Kathy
