Hello John:

There are two reasons I am writing. One is that I am a Russell and the other
is your last name. Some years ago a woman wrote to my mother about some
russells in Indiana. Her name was Pegg. I tried to follow up, but about 20 years
plus has passed and I was unable to find her.

My Russell line come from Pa, Va and Ohio. The direct link in Indiana was
Vinnedge Russell, who had first marr. Jane Rich and then Elizabeth Jay. They
are both buried in Indiana.

Would be interesting to find out what our connections may be.

1806 ; Benjamin Small , John Alexander , PETER FLEMING , Ephraim Overman ,
John Hawkins & Ralph Wright in 1807 ; John Burgess , JOHN MORROW & John
Townsend
in 1808 ; John Charles , Valentine Pegg , ANDREW MORROW & Michael Harvey in
1809 .

I have not yet gone into my files to see if I might have something on your
Russell, but I will.
