Ian if you have the dates someone could look up the wills in the Probate Court. You need to know the date and place of death. If there isn't a will there still could an estate record. I would be able to do it for you. My fees can be found on my web site. Many of the records are on microfilm and can be obtained from the LDS Family History Center near you. I will be in Mairon for a week in June and would have time to do some work for you.
Best of luck

Someone in Marion has told me W. Church St. only goes to the 300s. But I have letters with the addresses 509 and 700 W.Church St. Has the numbering of the Street changed? In Allen Potts' naturalization records on the Internet one of the McLaughlins was witness to a Bingham naturalization. Does anyone know anything about the Binghams in Marion? I was not aware of any Binghams in Marion, but it looks like they were related. A new found distant cousins in Detroit suggests I try to obtain copies of wills for various members of the family (I know death dates). Could someone tell me how to go about this? It is very difficult doing this from Australia. Thank you!
