Dana,

Do researchers believe that many of the Towers' families decend from the Towers in Hingham ? I am not certain mine do.

Some Towers were transported as political prisoners to VA in the 1700's, so they probably account for some of the families.

One coincidence is that in looking at some of the given names in Mass., I find Celia/Cecelia and Marie and many of the same names-however, these could have been popular names in England at that time or somewhat earlier. Who knows ?I never say never because these pioneer people were all over the place.
