Paul I was raised in Meeker and am quite familiar with the cemetery. Someone sent you the
URL for the Heritage Pursuit Web Site. The records of on the Cemetery seems to have
disappeared. In the 1950's I borrowed the burial records from Vern Day. He was the
Secretary of Association at the time. Since that time the Cemetery has been turned over to
the Montgomery Township Trustees and they do not have the old records. I at the time
extracted all of the records and on this site under inscriptions when you see as (F),
meaning funeral, that date came from the old records. At that time I also extracted all of
the obits from the Marion Star and they are included. Over the years continued to collect
the new obits. Not all were collected because I had left the area, but had relatives that
would send them to me. A couple of years ago the project was updated and that is what you
see on the Heritage Pursuit Web site.
