I have been trying to trace my wife's CRAMER family. Her second great grandmother, Barbara CRAMER, b. 25 Jun 1825 in Baden, Germany, married 27 Feb 1845 in Crawford Co, OH, Levi BAIR. Barbara appears to have had several sisters who married brothers with the surname WINGERT in Crawford County. Levi and Barbara lived in Marion Co, OH, from about 1860-1870, after which they moved to Humboldt Co, IA. There were two CRAMER families in the 1830-1840 Crawford County censuses, and I think that Barbara's father may have been Christopher or Christian CROMER/CRAMER but have no evidence. Do any of these names sound familiar to you other CRAMER researchers?
