I found this family on the 1840 census and am wondering if this is the Joseph Crandall who was married to Mary CLARKE who were the parents of Marion Clarke Crandall b. 1840 in Medina Co. OHIO who was married to Lovina. I have a Marion Crandall who lived in Boulder CO and was married to lovina, and I have a Lydia Crandall who was born 1834 in Medina co OHIO, and in her Obit of 1912 it says that she was survived by brother Marion Crandall in Boulder CO and Brother Harrison Crandall in ARK and brother Judge Rodolph Crandall of Hillsboro OR... I found Rodolph in the Union army in MN and Marion in Ohio and Iowa and Harrison in Marion's unit...I think this is the family and that they all connect but need some kind of help , but I do not know what to do next. I need something more, such as birth registry, an 1850 census, ...btw... joseph Crandall of 1840 had 3 males less than 5 yrs, and one female 5-10, along with 2 males between 5-15, so I hope there are cousins out there w!
ho can help me. on census i have lydia and Rodolph in the same town and year as saying that their parents were born in vermont and massachusetts, but there is a problem with that also. lydia says father in vermont mother massachusetts and rodolph says father in massachusetts mother in vermont! one or the other is mixed up and i do not know which one!!! if you know this family please help.
