Two Items of interest in this message: New Search & Chat

Many of you still subscribe to GenServ because you know that we load
new data everyday. In fact we have loaded new data everyday for the
past 27 months. You know there is a good chance of finding new info
here everyday.

Have you seen the COMING SOON announcement about the new GuestBook
Search utility posted on the HomePage?

* This new service is available for you NOW. *

About four years ago, we noticed a change in the GenServ GuestBook
messages. People were using the GuestBook as a query board. That
was a good idea because the messages were left on the GuestBook for
a long period of time.

For almost four years the GenServ GuestBook messages have been
archived waiting for the time when we could provide this service.

We have a new server with a new search program written by Anthony
Papineau, author of GED4WEB, just for the GuestBook messages. It
has 3+ years of Guestbook messages available for your research.
Thousands of messages, surnames, email addresses and names of
those who posted the messages. - - And SEARCHABLE - -

* This service is FREE with no limits of requests to anyone. *

Please go SIGN our GenServ GuestBook again. This time think of it as
a query board. Post several queries about all of your lines. We
will be posting the new messages in our GuestBook to the new search
area about once a week. Post often to our GenServ GuestBook and we
hope you will find this a good tool for your family research.

* For you this may also be the time to send us a new GEDCOM data file
* as a replacement for the one we have.... if so, Please do that.

Where is it ? The URL for the new server is:

http://raven.genserv.net/search.htm

Please note: The above URL has .net in it. This URL is only for the
Guestbook Search system.

........ Now about the CHAT system ....................

We have a new Server for a chat system on-line now. We think it has
gone through our beta-testing well. Ron has been writing this CHAT
program for sometime.

Please try it sometime, and we hope you will find it useful. The
CHAT system will will available and FREE all the time for anyone
wishing to use it for Family History. Any Genealogical research
or family history related chat is welcome. Take a look when time.

URL for it is http://chat.genserv.com

Check our homepage, and it will be getting shorter during the next
few weeks. I want to make it only one screen in length.
Don't forget to stop by TopTenLinks, and vote for your favorite site.

Thanks, and best to you. Send me a note anytime.
