Hello All,

This looks like a very friendly list! and very informative.
I would like to know the location of Camp Meigs from the Civil War.
(Maybe it is not even in this county, I don't know)

I have an article about my g-granduncle, William Narigon, from Tuscarawas
County. It says that he joined company E of the 80th Ohio in January 1861 at
Camp Meigs. William was shot thru the heart in Nov. 1863 at Mission Ridge in
Tenn. I have been trying to make a visual map of his life as a private and
would like to know about Camp Meigs.

By the way, I have never been to Meigs County, so will have to look at recent
maps or the township map of Meigs County on the web site.

Thanks for any help.
