Lillie Hubbard
Died: Friday, June 01, 2001
MIDDLEPORT - Lillie Hubbard, 91, of Middleport, died Friday, June 1, 2001, at
Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born Oct. 10, 1909, in Longdale, W.Va., she
was the daughter of the late Linley and Sarah Virginia Oliver Hart. She also
was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hubbard, and is survived by
daughters Mary Toth and Linda Foreman. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at
Fisher-Acree Funeral Home, Middleport, with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends mat call at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Doris Davis
Died: Thursday, May 31, 2001
TUPPERS PLAINS - Doris May Davis, 89, of Tuppers Plains, died Thursday, May
31, 2001, at her residence. She was born Feb. 5, 1912, in Tuppers Plains,
daughter of the late Homer and Lelah Cleland McCain. She was a homemaker and
member of the Tuppers Plains Church of Christ. She was a lifetime member of
the O.E.S. Minear Chapter 274 in Guysville and a member of the Tuppers Plains
Rose Garden Club. She is survived by a son and daughter-in -law, David and
Joyce Davis of Little Hocking; a daughter and son-in-law Doris and Deryl Well;
a granddaughter, Amy Scott of Dallas; and a grandson, David Davis Jr. of
Vienna, W.Va. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
John S. Davis, and a brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held
Sunday at White Funeral Home in Coolville, with Paster Terry Stewart
officiating. An Eastern Star service will start at 2 p.m., and the funeral
service will follow. Burial will be in Meigs County Memory Gardens. Calling
hours at the funeral home will be Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
