A question has been asked if the entire 116th OVI was recruited in Meigs
County. It was recruited from a four county area....Monroe, Meigs,
Athens and Noble.

Companies A, C, D, E and F were raised in Monroe County.
Companies B and G were raised in Meigs County.
Companies I and K in Athens County
Company H in Noble County

I should have mentioned that at the beginning of these postings....
