Is there anyone in Meigs Co. who could look up an obituary in the Middleport
Meigs Co. Press: I am still looking for information aabout John Spence who
died on or about Jan. 15, 1869. He was born in 1830, so died at a very young
age. He was married to Mary Curtis in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Pomeroy. When I was in Pomeroy a few years ago, I looked in the Meigs Co.
Telegraph Weekly for an obit, but could find nothing.

I am very anxious to find the name of his parents and the reason for his
death. His son was born on Jan. 10, 1869. I am hoping that the Middleport paper
might have something about his death.

I would appreciate any information. Thankyou.
