I am the person's e-mail you said you lost. I was looking for any information
about Halliday Hysell and his descendants. Halliday was living between
Rutland and Middleport. His neighbor was Dr. William N. Hudson. When Morgan's
Raiders went through that area of Meigs County, they shot and killed both men. Did
Halliday have any descendants? Did Dr. Hudson have any descendants? Did any of
their descendants do anything of great interest beyond the family circle? If
you uncover a good story about either man or their descendants, I would like to
feature it in my new book, After the Raid.
