No, the Ft. Recovery book is not the one I am looking for. Our library
(Sidney) has a copy of the Mercer County Ohio History 1978. It is about 3
inches thick and contains biographies and stories about persons and families
who were early settlers (before 1850 usually) or well-known in Mercer Co.
These biographies were written by members of the family and also include
some photos. There are also articles written about the communities and
businesses. If anyone finds a copy for sale PLEASE let me know.
Thanks for getting back to me Lois. What type of info is in the Ft.
Recovery book? I really haven't done much on our line lately. I can't get
away from home for an entire day to go to Celina. I can't even get away
long enough to go to Minster.
