Someone was recently nice enough to snail mail me some Eichenauer
information. I descend from Tobias, whom was supposedily the first Eichenauer
to come from Germany- he came in 1867. However, there is a Carolyn
Eichenauer here in 1852, who it seems married George Michael Hellwarth in
Mercer County. Then there is a Margarita Eichenauer married to a Henry Myer
Sept 6, 1860. Margarita is listed in the Cass County, IL marriages. ALSO...
in the 1880 Mercer census I was sent, there are several EICHARs. Could this
be a connection? Maybe a name change? Ideas anyone? Maybe Tobias' aunt?
Anyone know who this Carolyn is? Thanks!
