thank you for looking.
I should warn the whole list that they are a very slippery lot.
Peter is on the 1900 census, his son William is on the 1920 census. as far
as we know, that's all there is, though the 1930 census may be helpful. I
haven't seen the 1900 census yet, and he is miscoded, so he wasn't on the
soundex I checked. fortunately someone has the 1900 census index on CD, and
they found him for me.
Peter came to America abt 1860 for Co. Kildare, Ireland. it's thought that
he may have been in NY in 1870, and m. in Mercer Co. OH in 1880
when I get Elizabeth's death record, it should (I hope) clear up some of the
confusion.
