Most of the Indiana PITSENBARGERs -are- cousins. In fact, my own Darke Co.
family went there during the Civil War and stayed long enough to miss the
Darke Co. 1870 census. That is where my several great-aunt Mary married
James COLSON and this family finally moved back to Ohio (as my own did) and
settled in Montezuma. Mary's eldest sister Elizabeth married Jacob METZGER
and he died in New Weston in 1904. Some of this METZGER line are buried in
Mercer Co. although Elizabeth herself went with her daughter to Van Wert and
died and was buried there. Mary's eldest brother Allen also married in
Indiana but brought his family back to Ohio (his family is around
Burkettsville).

I am not sutre of the time frame for the PITSENBARGERs you mention below,
but they would all be cousins to me. Some are in Anderson and Muncie today.
