Just so you know, it was announced that Ancest.Com (MyFamily.Com) has
acquired/will merge with Rootsweb, Inc. There are so many messages my
mailbox is overfull. I am not sure at this time of the ramifications of
this for me or the USGenWeb Project or the various Rootsweb Lists. I
suspect little will change except that Ancestry will direct more of the
policies and procedures and Ancstry will have more control regarding
dissemination of material archived at Rootsweb. We are being assured that
Rootsweb will continue its support of free-access genealogy......

Will let all know if anything earth-shaking comes up......
