Subject: [MERCER] MIGRATIONS Project

May I remind all of you that there is now a MIGRATIONS database collecting
and disseminating this kind of information. It's not likely you will the
find the answer to the specific situation below, but this is one place you
WILL look for answers to these kinds of questions in the future. This is a
BROWSER-SUBMITTED database so if you don't submit, your data will not be in
the database!
The new project is at http://www.migrations.org/
You can search by location -or- surname. If you use the URL below, you can
see what names have acumulated so far for Mercer Co. PLEASE, if you don't
enter you ancestors and their migrations routes, the database will not grow
to be helpful to others.
http://www.migrations.org/county.php3?migcounty=Mercer%20County,%20OH
This database is accumulative. There my be little there now, but keep
adding your own ancestors and pass on the idea of MIGRATIONS to others and
watch the files grow!!!
This should be the URL for seeing what has accumulated for Clay Co., IN:
http://www.migrations.org/county.php3?migcounty=Clay%20County,%20IN
If you are interested in other counties in Ohio, see my page Ohio Paths at
http://www.calweb.com/~wally/ipih/paths.htm
The specific link to the MIGRATIONS database for each Ohio county is given
(as well as links to other one-site projects on the Internet).
