Hi, Peg;
The sketch in the 1896 Recorded Portraits and Biographical History of Van
Wert and Mercer County, Ohio. John Pifer had two of his children to
survive, viz: George F. Pifer, a farmer of Williams County, Ohio and Mrs.
Leah Altaffer, of Kansas.
I'm taking my computer in for a check up and will let you know what I can
find in the books I have here. I don't live in Mercer Co.
Sharon
