Dear Dwayne:

I am researching the descendants of Ursus Joseph Studer and Anna
Maria Buergi of Trimbach, Canton Solothurn, Switzerland. They immigrated
in the autumn of 1817 through Philadelphia with their son Jacob, and they
settled in Juniata County, then Mifflin County, PA..

Who were your Joseph Jacob Studer's parents? Did they really come
from Germany, or might they have also been from Switzerland? My family
also thought we were from Germany!

Any reply will be greatly appreciated. I have other information
about my family if you see that we are connected.
