Message Board Post:
I'm kickstarting my HARRAH research again as I just found some more
information on my 2nd great grandmother, Apaline Harrah Manning.
John Harrah married Priscilla Todd circa 1834 in either Salem or Sandy
Creek Township. I find them with their children in the 1850 Sandy Creek
Township census: Matilda, Calvin, William, Milo, Apaline, Velora and Stephen.
I find a James Harrah married to an Isabella in the Salem Township 1850
census ... with children, Matilda, Mary down a few more are Sarah Anne with
son James.
James Harrah indicates that he came from Ireland and I think I also find
him in the 1840 Salem Township census and the 1870 Hempfield Township census.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Lori
