Looking for family history of Dr. Bernard Roemer, who was born about 1837.
Believe family was from Mercer County, Ohio.

Dr. Roemer married Susan Marcella Rosser of Bedford County, Virginia and moved
there. At the outbreak of the Civil War in 1861, he enrolled as a private in
Bedford Light Artillery or Wise's Artillery but soon became the surgeon in
various Confederate hospitals in and about Richmond, VA. Have his records from
the National Archives.

Would appreciate any information or leads.

John Spicer purchased 40 acres of land in Mercer Co. Ohio in 1830. I know
nothing else about him. I think he may have had a brother Samuel. Is there
anyone else out there researching the Spicer family in Mercer County??

Need info regarding either Dora or Rebie Shellabarger. Dates of birth would be
approx. late 1800's.
