Dear Listers:

The Mercer County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society is preparing
probate packets from beginning of Mercer County up to 1900 (about 4400
packets) for microfilming. Our volunteer help has slacked off in the past
month or so.

If you are willing to help in this project, and can come to the Mercer
County Court House for at least half day a week, let me know. We'd like to
get another crew together to move this project along. At the moment, we
have as many volunteers as we can accommodate on Thursday afternoons. The
work is not hard - it's mostly sitting. It's a great opportunity to get
acquainted with fellow "genies" and help with a worthwhile project.
