Hi everyone,
I am so excited because quite by accident I discovered
where Major R. Collins and William H. Clark were in
1860. One of William H. Clark's daughters was born in
IL so I decided to investigate. The
IL-census-lookup-l person found William H. Clark in
Hillsboro post office, Montgomery Co. IL page 188.
Just by accident I found another census lookup site
and was browsing through Montgomery Co looking for
other Clarks when I found Major R. Collins on page
171!!! Just so you know he is 32 born MD, his wife
Sarah is 30 b. OH, and Anna his daughter born OH is
11. Now all I have to do is find a marriage
somewhere.

as father of Major' Collins's mother Nancy b 1798. [I'm writing these details
to keep them together in files for future reference.]
