I don't know if this helps but in the 1860 census it lists their birth place
as OHio. As usual it is spelled wrong. In the 1850 census it is Runkles
name Place birth
Shepard Rumple Recovery, Mercer, OH 37 1822 Ohio Male
Anna Rumple Recovery, Mercer, OH 35 1824 Ohio Female
Catharine Rumple Recovery, Mercer, OH 11 1848 Ohio Female
Richard Rumple Recovery, Mercer, OH 8 1851 Ohio Male
Margret Rumple Recovery, Mercer, OH 4 1855 Ohio Female
Daniel Rumple Recovery, Mercer, OH 2 1857 Ohio Male
John Runcles Recovery, Mercer, OH 18 1841 Ohio Male
